I  just realized how long it's been since I've visited this site.... since I've touched a computer for that matter.

Time for me to come out from under my rock.

Christmas was great. We spent it with my soon to be in-laws in oregon. Which is beautiful by the way. But I'm back home in VA for new years and can't wait to post pictures of the new house.

So I've finally settled in with Scott in Pheonix. Just in case you didn't know, it's a tid it warmer here than Virginia. It took me two days to get here, but I was more than happy to drive to be with this wonderful man.

How Scott and I met is very strange actually. I lived in Newport News, VA and my older brother was in training for the Army at Fort Lee in Hopewell. After hanging out with Tyler and all of his (very cute) Army buddies for the weekend, I thought it best to head back to Newport. I stopped at a subway to grab a bite before the drive home. It was about 12:15 and the store was swarming with green suits. I grabbed my DELICIOUS chicken pizziola and sweet tea and headed towards a table. Right before I sat down, someone bumped into me and I dropped my drink, covering half my shirt and making it look as though I had wet myself. This is Scott everyone. He apologized and handed me about 50 napkins to "dry off" with. We got to talking and he had just left the base on leave, headed back to Pheonix. Scott asked me out to dinner to repay me for the spillage and I kindly accepted. To make a very very very long story short, Scott and I both stayed in Hopewell for a week together, and I must say, it was the most amazing week of my life. And here I am, 6 months later, across country, with the man whole spilled a drink all over me.

Life is funny, isn't it?
